Arsenicum
Arsenicum is a homeopathic remedy that acts to heal every organ and tissue in the body.
It is widely known for its use with regards to food poisoning. I’m sure we have all had that one dog or cat that loves to get into everything. I know I have. From roadkill to expired food — to questionable backyard objects — I have had a dog eat it all. Luckily, there is a remedy for the aftermath: Arsenicum.
Not only does this remedy work quickly, but it is safe to use with dogs, cats, and even you! When your pet is nauseous, vomiting, has diarrhea, allergic reactions, or gets into something they definitely shouldn’t have (think large chocolate Easter bunny) Arsenicum will help.
Some other indications of when to use Arsenicum are restlessness, unquenchable thirst, exhaustion after the slightest exertion, fear, itching, and irritability after midnight. Another indication that Arsenicum will be helpful is when these symptoms are improved with warmth.
